The aim of the BARBRI Foundations in Law course is to increase your confidence and familiarity with the legal system of England & Wales; legal research – how to conduct and present legal research; and key legal concepts, terms and areas of practice. The law covered in this course will also be covered in our SQE Prep course, however this content will have a slightly different focus through different lectures and exercises.
This set of materials includes the introductory workshop, which you can watch below, followed by instructions for a hands-on exercise found in video two.
Foundations in Law taster chapter
All candidates who enrol onto the Foundations in Law course are supplied with a full set of printed materials for their studies. These bespoke workbooks, written exclusively by our tutors and tailored to students without legal qualifications or Civil law experience, provide an easy-to-understand introduction to the law and legal terminology studied in SQE1 Prep.
