Enrol in an SQE1 Prep course

You'll receive an email within xx days, detailing xx

You will receive an email immediately to confirm enrolment, including basic course information and payment totals.

You'll be onboarded (how, by whom, when?)

Please note, onboarding for SQE1 is very independent to each student. However usually onboarding is immediate once the student has made payment. Once the payment has been made, you will be able to access the course straight away if it is active. You can also access the messaging system for updates and your order information, including payments which have been made and are due. 

You'll gain access to the portal (how and when)

You'll gain access to the portal once the prep course starts. Also, once you have made payment (either instalment to meet threshold or in full) you will be able to have access straight away to all the materials. 

Will there be materials sent by post? What and when?

Materials will be sent via post as soon as you have made payment (either by instalment or in full). You can order materials yourself in 'orders' and 'manage shipping' via the PSP.

You'll be assigned a learning coach - online sessions or whatsapp or Teams - what would this look like? How many interactions with coach, etc?

Your Learning Coach will be assigned within one week of enrolment if the course has started. Unlimited accessibility students can book as many through Calendly, where there is Learning Coach information and a booking link available via messaging in the PSP. Students will also receive information (within roughly 4 weeks) about study groups.There is also strategy sessions which are very informal drop ins where students can ask questions and interact with other students on the same course.

Career Services - Student can reach out to careers via email (sqecareers@barbri.com) initially then they can schedule a meeting.

Student Services - Students can reach student services via email (ukstudentservices@barbri.com) or phone (+44 (0)203 8550 162).

Learning Coaches - You can book Calendly appointments with your Learning Coaches.

What is the cadence of check-ins, etc.

Please note, SQE1 is very independent to each student. Student services will reach out to students if payments have been declined or about exam results. Learning Coaches may reach out to students too. 

You'll be given a PSP - what is this?

Access all course materials online at any time through your Personal Study Plan (PSP). Your PSP guides every assignment and activity throughout your entire SQE1 Prep course so that you can go at the pace that is right for you. Pre-recorded video lectures, soft and hard copy workbooks and thousands of practice questions build knowledge over time and deliver the right combination of substance and skills on a flexible schedule.

What is ISAAC?

You will also study with the help of your Intuitive Study Assistant and Coach (ISAAC), a powerful engine that runs BARBRI SQE Prep courses. ISAAC takes data about what is most likely to be tested and learns from you as you work, teaching you exactly what you need to know to pass.
